Worship leader Rob Fulton is based in Stroud Christian Fellowship where he has been writing songs for a number of years. This album is a selection of what he believes are his "more popular songs" recorded at FFG's studios. The album mixes a variety of styles, acoustic, blues, pop, all vying for attention and into the melting pot comes Tracy Baker and Rob's folky vocals. Fittingly Rob plays most of the instruments here with a welcome guest appearance from Keith Thompson who adds some fine bluesy guitar to the fabulous "13" based on Psalm 13. Overall, amidst a few ordinary tunes there are some real nuggets, the title song I can well imagine inspiring a rousing peak of worship in a congregation. Most of these songs are designed for worship, from the rip roaring "Alive!" which opens things up through to more laid back fare like "Hungry" and the best song here, the excellent majestic flowing "I Hide In You". The restrictions of the budget have meant that a straightforward rootsy production is in order which allows the songs to shine through. A good effort.
