Using skills crafted for the film and TV industry Mr Stroh here presents an album of 10 improvised piano pieces that can be used in the background for prayer and meditation times. The opener "Invited In" has a light and teasing trill that hooks you in and then goes on to treat you to the improvisations that characterise this artist's approach. "All Around The World" and the title track stand out from the rest because they both have chord playing reminiscent of modern worship songs and the latter even has something akin to a melody line. Having learned his craft at the Purcell School and then the Royal College of Music, Rob worked as a professional horn soloist before turning to soundtrack composition. For this album, released last year, the London-based writer took inspiration from a verse in Scripture that speaks of God's protection and support. Launching an album of tracks played by a single instrument may seem unusual in an era dominated by bands, but if you are looking for something to draw a congregation into deeper worship this CD should be in your library.

Hi Rob! God bless you! I just want to thank-you for using
your gifts/talents for the kingdom of God! We need more
artists who will confidently identify themselves as
followers of Jesus, and share their music with the church of
Christ. I was amazed when I logged onto my Whisperings
Purestream webplayer, accidentally brushed the mouse, and
your site popped up on my screen. LOL! Actually, I don't
think it was an accident! The snippet of one of your songs
that I heard was AWESOME!!! Could you possibly direct me to
a place where I can listen to a sample of "Everlasting
Arms?" Kindest Regards, Marie
