This is the band's second recording and it suffers from a low budget production which means that the occasional muggy sound and horrible drum programming spoil things. There is some good songwriting happening and the band are obviously focussed on ministry and encouraging the Church. I'd guess that this CD doesn't do them justice when compared to live shows. This is pop rock with quite a bit of a folky feel to it vocally. It's as much to do with the feel of singer Eddy Nixon's voice as he harmonises with Catherine Ridgwick, which means that no matter what happens in the song arrangements, it sounds old fashioned. This suits the rootsier acoustic songs like "Winds Of Change" and "Sanctus" more readily than rockers like the title cut and "Now I'm Yours" which sound leaden. They're currently working on new material and it might be a better move to record an EP with more time spent in the production of a smaller number of songs to create something stronger.
