London-based singer/songwriter Sam Opeche's independently released followup to 2013's 'We Enter In: A Journey Into Worship' sees the worship man offer up seven tracks that seek to point the listener towards God at every opportunity. Offering up an assured but gentle vocal performance, Opeche seems to draw on familiar musical influences in the likes of the Lighthouse Family facsimile "Believe Again" and a virtual Bobby McFerrin/Bob Marley mash up in the reggae-soaked "Sea Of His Love" whilst the up tempo "Rejoice" and the customary slow worship of "I Will Sing" showcase the singer's vocal range in different settings. Unfortunately, the opening title track lacks something of the polish found elsewhere with basic instrumentation, flat production and an unimaginative melody giving an unfair first impression to an otherwise pleasing release - not helped by the fact that a needless instrumental version of said song closes proceedings.
