Once in a while you come upon an album that makes you just stop what you are be doing and simply listen as you are drawn into a place of worship. It's not just the warm voice (somewhere between Bebo Norman and Ben Howard) or the top LA production (Bobby Hartly - behind the likes of Jeremy Riddle), but the sheer heartfelt, personal, intimate lyrics on display here. Samuel is worship pastor at the Vineyard church in St Albans Hertfordshire and has already had his songs featured on various Vineyard albums such as 'Beautiful', 'All From You' and 'My Soul Yearns'. This is Samuel's debut solo album and is simply outstanding. "Take Me With You", the opener, is full of passion and intimacy. This alongside "Oh My Soul" and "The Father" and you feel you are intruding on a very special time of natural worship! The only break is the gentle change of pace of "Your Love Endures", "The Road" and "You Are With Us". This is an outstanding piece of work, and the start of something very special!

Product Description
The Fire is the début solo worship album from Samuel Lane (St Albans Vineyard Church)
This album is the product of Samuel’s life as a worship leader and songwriter serving and growing in the local church. Samuel also draws deeply from his wealth of experience and involvement in the worship of the Vineyard movement in the UK. The songs are full of passion, intimacy and honesty and the record communicates an authentic and heartfelt journey of faith in the presence of God. The Fire not only brings great new songs to the church, but it also calls out to the listener to engage with God; to ‘meet their Maker’. There is nothing more amazing, nothing more life-changing than being drawn into the presence of God, and The Fire will do just this.
