This is one of the new breed of double-sided discs with an audio album of one side and a DVD on the other. The DVD contains the entire studio album, a documentary about the singer's mercy mission to the Deep South in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and footage of an in-store concert. It's pretty well worth it just for that. But the studio audio side is even more wonderful. Ms Groves has a fine voice and Brown Bannister's as always meticulous production enables that voice to be shown to perfection. The title track is an excellent song, driven along by a fine band, but some of the more stripped down performances - particularly "To The Moon" with the singer, a piano and a small choir - are also superb. This is a great album from the singer/songwriter and a strong showcase for her music, lyrics and voice.
