North Wales-based songstress Sarah has teamed up with her singer/songwriter husband Mark to release a five track EP of mostly piano-led worship songs which pay tribute to the saving grace of Jesus at every turn. Whilst never amateurish, there is a lovely homespun and low key feel to proceedings which serves to showcase Pierce's fragile yet inviting voice and the reflective nature of her material. Songs such as the contemplative "My Value's In Your Blood" highlight Pierce's piano skills as well as an ability to turn out a worship tune that refreshingly sounds different from other worship fare whilst the hymn "For Our God So Loved The World" and "Proverbs 3v5&6" continue in a similar vein. Embellishments like the stirring swell at the end of the title track and a spoken word section from Rev Tim Hall in "Abba Father" add some needed variety to this unassuming but enjoyable release.
