Nashville-based kids ministry Seeds Family Worship grew out of a request for worship leader and this release's chief writer Jason Houser to compose songs to help children remember Bible verses from his church's summer school. Since then, a number of 'Seeds Of' releases have sprouted and this particular one sees Houser and his talented team deliver an album of highly memorable songs that quote directly from the Bible. The likes of the opener "Call To Me", "Do Not Be Anxious" and "Convinced" promote the essential biblical principles of seeking God, trust and victory in Christ within the context of well-crafted songs whilst tracks like "The Good Song" and "Crushed" are immense fun and reflect the fact that learning Scripture can actually be enjoyable. Uniquely, the names of the featured passages are shouted out during the songs to help cement the location of each Scripture in the mind of the listener and this, combined with the quality of material on offer here, means that this release will prove to be a valuable tool in helping youngsters grow spiritually. A duplicate disc is generously included to allow the purchaser to pass the word of God on to others.
