Shake The Nation are the worship band for Texas' Bay Area Fellowship. Before he was the lead singer of the band, Mark Marquez was a broken man as he went in 2003 to the Fellowship in Corpus Christi, Texas. From there on his life was changed. Mark is now the worship pastor of the church. It was thanks to Dave Hanley, the lead singer of the Christian pop/rock band Press Play and the founder of Dream Records, who immediately signed them to Dream Records after he listened to their demo of this, their first album. It proved to be a major US hit reaching number six on the Christian Albums chart. The two outstanding tracks are the opener "The Anthem" and the powerful "Hero", both of which have been selected for Cross Rhythms airplay. There is now another Shake The Nation album out in the US, 'Colliding Grace'. Clearly these guys are making a major mark in America's modern worship scene.
