Shekinah 3 are a ministering trio based in an Anglican church in Berkhemstead. Their style of music is ideally suited to quiet, meditative worship and this album is aimed at helping Christians focus on God's presence, receiving his healing touch. The combination of flute, voice and keyboard playing in this style can get a bit bland sometimes and although Tides' has generally got a lot to say, there were times when I longed for a change of mood, for a bit of rhythmic contrast. I also found the sound to be woolly in a few places, despite the clear production. Having said all this, Tides' has got some really good moments - I particularly enjoyed "If Anyone Wants To Come" and "Marah . There are also a couple of songs that could lend themselves to congregational worship. Check it out.
