I looked in my dictionary for a definition of silage, but all it offered was something stored in a silo. In many ways this shadows my attempt to review this album, lt is lucid and witty with a smidge of self parody but defies precise analysis. Maybe if the Police joined Madness in sending up the American high school scene from a Christian perspective it would sound like this. The beat is heavily driven by the bass (remember the Cars and the Ramones?), although the final track is the title opener reprised in swing style. Sad man that I am, I preferred it. There is also a "sappy intermission" with some duffly pitched horns that had me howling with laughter: these guys must be great fun to be around. The motif "It's not my intention to be cl" strikes a resonance". Would there were a few others who did their thing without bowing to the idol of pose. Buy it!
