One part US and one part UK duo Social Beingz met in Manchester and were formerly known as Twelve24. We got a taster with the single "Rollie" earlier this year (the opener on this album), now we have a full album of an enjoyable mix of uplifting rap and infectious pop. Influences include Twenty One Pilots, Drake and N-Sync and this permeates the music here, which would be comfortable on many a teenager's playlist. "All Cried Out" (featuring Tessa E), is extremely radio friendly, while "California" (featuring Jaye Millenium) has a great summer feeling. The lyrics also have their challenging moments, such as "Oh Yeah" where they ask what love means to you in a direct while non-confrontational style. The years of dues-paying with The Message Trust have really paid off for the guys as this album has an immediacy and production shine as good as most of the world's pop music.
