11 tracks from Soul Survivor 2012 and five from its sister Momentum event (a little over 75 minutes of music in total) are offered here, and there is high quality at every turn. It's never easy to capture the essence and spirit of a live worship event on a CD for listeners who were not there in person, but this offering comes closer than most to doing so. Sprinkled across the collection of excellent tracks are songs led by the Soul Survivor worship leaders Beth Croft, Sam Bailey and Tom Field and each convey passion and power. Also making an appearance are Ireland's worship experimentalists the Rend Collective Experiment and their tracks are particular standouts. The musical style is pretty much as you would expect at most youth events, ie, bombastic stadium rock, but contrast and texture has been built in so the end-to-end listen is at all times interesting. Standout tracks include "Kingdom Come" and "Set A Fire", but these are amongst a collection containing nothing weak.

Product Description
From the summer festival which brought us Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Ben Cantelon - and many more - comes another great new live double album.
Recorded this summer in the company of 30,000 young worshippers, Kingdom Come features the standout anthems My Heart and Kingdom Come - as well as the additional musical talents of Rend Collective Experiment.
CD1 captures the essence of Soul Survivor - with its teenage worshippers holding nothing back, while CD2 offers five tracks recorded at Momentum - the sister event designed for twentysomethings.
