Described as "a worship movement birthed from a heart for revival in Wales", this is an eclectic mix that features the talents of lead vocalist and chief songwriter Cath Woolridge, guitarist Neil Costello and multi-instrumentalist/producer Mark Edwards amongst others. Although the opening tracks "Because Of The Cross" and "Romans 8" initially indicate an album of standard worship fare, all involved soon get their creative juices flowing with a brave reworking of an old hymn in the medley "Llef: The Cry/How Great Thou Art" which showcases not only Woolridge's powerful and impressive vocals but also a Welsh male voice choir to boot. Elsewhere, an accordion-driven version of "Here Is Love" - refreshingly sung in its original Welsh tongue like selected other tracks on this release - breathes new life into an old chestnut whilst Woolridge's own "Hallelujah" is an atmospheric and well thought out piece of worship that draws the listener in by being just that little bit different. Stand out tracks include Woolridge's captivating prayer "Emyn I Gymru" and the sublime take on "For Wales Our Land" (set to Sibelius' "Finlandia") which cap a hugely enjoyable release that celebrates God with typical Welsh fervour.
