The female harmonisers Sound Of Wales are renowned throughout their homeland with their spoken intention of "capturing the sound of a nation." Here, the ladies present 11 atmospheric songs recorded live in Cardiff in January and delivered with the sort of passionate singing for which the nation is venerated. Lead vocalists Hannah Barnes, Jess Morgan and Cath Woolridge backed by a strong choir deliver the goods, including words in Welsh such as "Gwahoddiad" and the English/Welsh "Here Is Love" praying for grace and love to "flow through the Valleys." There are some outstanding worship anthems here such as the title track and the beautiful hymn "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go". An engaging album which rewards repeated listening.
