Why is it that N-Soul are releasing these US albums from the '90s into the UK, when there is so much new stuff out there? This one even has a competition printed on the sleeve with a closing date of June 30, 1998. Granted, there's a glamorous girl on a motorcycle on the cover. There are some good deep lyrics, all printed on the sleeve, albeit in the wrong order. The album kicks off with "Global Culture Sega Child" that tells of a fast-paced, changing world, and other songs proclaim that "actions speak louder than words" and show the longing of a heart that wants to go on with Jesus. There's a strong techno-beat and some of the songs are oriented more towards rock than dance, with one or two soft pop numbers thrown in for good measure. All in all a very good album. of 1997!
