Spiritn3d are a band formed by three older Catholic rock musicians from Connecticut, USA, who enjoy playing flat-out rock perhaps harking back to more youthful days of heavy metal. Their songs set out clear Christian messages with a vigorous drum and electric guitar accompaniment making them popular in church youth settings in America. Songwriter Dan Leone works with Australian Miriam Lili, a partnership pursued into their latest album, 'From Dubai To You'. 'He's Real' features the commanding electric guitar skills of band co-founder Dave Richard, complemented by the equally forceful Kevin Cuff on percussion. Though rock appears to be the preferred genre, the band has other strings to their bow too. "I'm Holding On" profiles a rap style, whereas "Forgiven" opens with sensitive acoustic guitar, a style the band advertise for coffee houses and adoration services. The vocal style is reminiscent of the American singer Don Francisco, and if the hard rock numbers sometimes appear musically repetitious, each song expresses clear and simple truths of faith that are memorable and easy to access.
