This album is from 2006; Spitfire's new album is out now called 'Cult Fiction', the cover of which raises serious questions as far as the band's Christian stance is concerned. Any beliefs the band may or may not have are well hidden. The lyrics are obscure in the extreme. The band have been through many personnel changes but having been going since the late '90s on and off. The band have included members from hardcore band Norma Jean, formerly Scottie Henry on guitar and now drummer Chris Haines. There can be no doubt the band's music is hard, brutal, chaotic and at times interesting, but other times it just gets plain annoying. They keep their fans guessing by posting on their MySpace webpage - "was born. Started cult. Fulfilled prophecy. Died with dignity." To be honest there is talent here as their fans will attest to however I feel it's wasted and the whole atmosphere is too dark for my liking.
