St Aladin, otherwise known as Aladin Sani, has had plenty of music experience back in his Nigerian homeland as well as, of all places, Austria and has worked with players in the electronic music scene such as Rodney Hunter and Magablast. This self produced album is Aladin's first Christian album, although he does not have the big production behind him this time. 'It's All About You' grows on the listener with every play though it's generally the music based around Nigerian culture that works the best. Outstanding tracks include the sublime "Adua" sung in his own language and "The Master Key". There is also a terrific a cappella track "Because The Lord" which featuring Aladin's smooth and silky voice, is a joy to listen to. Where the album slips a little is when programmed beats are used on tracks such as the opener "Good Morning Jesus" and "Afro-Praise Medley". However, despite the odd detour, this is still an enjoyable album.
