The first album from Stainless, 'Revealed', released in 2009, was greeted well, with some reservations over some tracks. Two years on we have a live album with nine self-penned songs (and one reprise) recorded at the Jubilee Church's Auditorium. The previous problems appear to have been mostly addressed. From the engaging drumming at the start of "Shout For Joy" to the funky "Have You Not Heard" that finishes the album, the songwriting and musicianship are first class while the congregation's enthusiasm gives the album plenty of atmosphere. The vibe of the childlike title track and "Lifted High" is wonderful! The musicianship is strong. Particularly impressive is Ralf Helfrich's guitar solo on the worshipful "All To You". I really enjoyed this CD and it stands up well against the heavily promoted mega-church recordings in today's marketplace.
