Known for their infectious pop punk vibe and numerous changes in line up, it seems that Stellar Kart are finally coming of age and settling down with this polished offering. It is obvious that the sound of the band has developed and matured from their early bouncy pop tracks, at times venturing into straight on rock. Kicking off with "Criminals And Kings" this four piece from Phoenix, Arizona attack their instruments with energy and fill the speakers with edgy, layered guitars. The first single from the album and title track is a softer pop ballad that highlights the growing maturity in the band's lyrics, as they offer the challenge of complete commitment to God. There are moments when Stellar Kart still sounds similar to the likes of Blink 182 and comedic lyrics are never far away. "Hollywood Reality" and "Nowhere To Go But Up" are typical examples of the sound that originally bought them success. Production is top notch and I am sure that this collection of 10 tracks will be a favourite on the radio, appreciated by fans that enjoy melodic music with an edge and lyrics that challenge.
