Reviewed by David Cranson "I believe that God created life to be an adventure." - S C Chapman. So, guess what he starts with? Correct! Well, actually it's the prologue - five minutes of backstage stuff, interviews with Steven and various fans gushing - then the FUN begins... Now I'm a bit of a metal head, but this is brilliant with a capital FAB! Full of life, laughs, lyrics (of the 'dynamic' kind according to a fan), feeling and meaning; and God got ALL the glory. From "The Great Adventure" to "No Better Place", thru "His Strength Is Perfect" and "Me And Herbie" (his first song) -this ain't on the CD so you'll have to buy the video to hear/see it - there's old and new songs, songs about/to his wife and a song about suspected 'flu. Through it all God's love comes shining out and you have the feeling Steven knows where it's at. He loves his family and his friends - but most of all his Lord (just check out the SMILE). There's country, jazz, rock, bluegrass, rap, ballads and choreography - interspersed with stories and 'on-the-road' stuff. This should really lift you up. As the lady at Ritchie's (free plug), my local Christian book shop, says, he's a very (a very, very) nice guy. As he says, "It's Got 2 Be Tru".
