Seasoned sessioner Stuard with various members of Cutting Edge (sorry, Delirious?) and this 6-song tape is thoroughly engaging when you get past the grungy opener "Like You Promise" where the distortion on the voice seems a bit overdone. Both the chugging "The Rain" and the haunting, slow "Wilderness" are excellent. Producer Martin Smith does his usual deft job.
