Although Stuart has been around for a while leading worship around the world and contributing to Sammy Horner's popular 'Celtic Praise' albums, this is his first solo project. The album is a mix of Stuart's own material and new arrangements of classic hymns and is generally of a soft acoustic feel with the occasional up tempo track. It is on these up tempo tracks that the excellent musicianship is let down by the production that has left songs that should be full of life feeling a bit thin and lacking in energy. The more acoustic numbers really shine out and highlight the maturing songwriting of Stuart and his co-writers and the stunning lyrical heritage there is in the older hymns and songs.
