Stuart's Cafe are made up of Becky Osler (vocals and guitar), Nikki Boyd (violin), James Allen (bass) and Stuart Colbear (drums). This 11-song set is a compelling collection of thoughtful songs drawing the listener closer to God. Becky's voice suits the mostly gentle songs very well and the violin featured throughout the disc gives a Celtic feel to the proceedings with "Your Eyes" giving more than a slight nod to Iona without the epic studio production. Throughout 'Starters' has a simple, uncluttered feel and the standout tracks are "Jesus, Friend" and the final track "Heal" which allow Becky's close mic'ed vocals to shine.
