Sue Dodge has been a stellar performer on the Southern gospel music scene for many years and has recently found a new lease of life performing solo in the Gaither Homecoming Concerts. Previous to this she was in several gospel groups and many of the selections here are songs she has sung over many years such as "I Shall Never Forget The Day". In total, there are 15 tracks on this value for money CD and whilst the songs are full of meaning such as "When He Blest My Soul", "Sweeter Each Day" and "He Was There All The Time", the problem for me was that Sue's vocals lack much distinctive quality. Having said that, no doubt there are fans who have followed the lady's career over many years who will enjoy this album.
