This four-piece band peddle a sound which although composed mainly of the duddah-de-dudduh-dah-dah of thrash metal offers lyrics of more depth than the average straight ahead mosher. At least I think they do, as I wasn't really able to decipher much in the rather limited amount of time I had to review this! The words are a strange combination, being both scriptural in places and extremely oblique most of the time. Their occasional frankness would probably offend some people, but I guess those people probably wouldn't be buying this anyway. It is difficult in some ways to review this album - at the end of the day even if I gave it 10 out of 10 I could guarantee most people would still not like it, but credit should be given to the band. They at least try to stretch the boundaries of their chosen genre on several tracks, most notably "Frykondalula" (No, I have no idea what it means), which is more than many acts. Different, but is it any good? The jury is still out.
