Pianist and worship leader Macalmon is a favourite on Christian TV and on this latest set he offers instrumental renditions of well known hymns. "Symphonic Worship Part 1" focuses on God the Father and features "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross". The second section moves on to Jesus and opens with that favourite of the Billy Graham Crusades, "In The Garden". It is a very gentle introduction in to the solo portion of this record which leads the listener into a reflective journey of benchmark hymns from the past. Other favourites include "The Old Rugged Cross", "I'd Rather Have Jesus" and "How Great Thou Art". The final share of the trilogy brings a return to the big sound of the numbers with the help of the long established Nashville String Machine. This portion tails off with a rendition of "It Is Well With My Soul". Don't expect any surprises besides the addition of a bonus track at the end but if you enjoy old hymns given a rich orchestral treatment you will enjoy this.

Product Description
“God is doing a lot of new stuff. I count it a privilege to be available and used by the Lord for his ministry.” - Terry MacAlmon
Timeless Praise is a piano and orchestra project with the old hymns and old favourites of the church - some hundreds of years old, some thirty and forty years old.
It was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with “some of the best musicians in the world.” explains Terry. He continues: “I believe it’s a CD that will be used to honour God in a lot of applications and a lot of denominational churches and non-denominational churches as so many peple have their roots in these songs and their theology is excellent.”
