This is a single from a long established Florida-based gospel quartet. Lead vocals are delivered by the wonderfully named Earnest H Faust Jr and this CD offers three versions of the same song. The first is the vocal mix that has very 1980s soul sound with strong vocals while track two has the vocals used more sparingly and the third mix is an instrumental one. The Apostles are clearly a veteran group with one foot in old school quartet gospel while endeavouring to update their sound. "Winner In You" probably isn't the song to take the veterans to the next level, but it's not without its charm.
