Working in conjunction with Bob Farrell of '80s CCM hitmakers Farrell & Farrell, the irrepressible Chrisagis Brothers offer a set of songs taken exclusively from the Farrells' back catalogue. The squealing guitars, heavy synth and pounding bass found on "Ransom" are a flashback to the glory days of big hair rock which is strangely compelling. But it is the synth-driven opening track "Jump Up" thumps home its message about being "the light of the world", before giving way to "He Will Always Make A Way For Me", a similarly upbeat statement of faith. "Split Second" is a barnstorming highlight, frenetically charging through a description of the Second Coming, despite the opening sounding a lot like George Michael's "Careless Whisper". However there are also a number of much slower ballads such as "Through Your Eyes" and "Place In His Heart For You" to which the voices of the Chrisagises are better suited. Probably the most interesting track on the set is their intriguing cover of F&F's classic from 1985 "People In A Box" which brings some surreal mixing effects to bring a new dimension to the song about technology taking over.
