The first track on this EP from the London-based group is the atmospheric "Dawned" which has an inventive arrangement built round a repeating guitar pattern and featuring a great backing vocal. This is followed by the title track, which sort of passed me by first time I played the CD, however, subsequent listens have revealed a real grower of a song about spiritual longing. "London Town" has a bluesy John Mayer feel, which in places brought Foy Vance to mind (probably the backing vocals), with an excellent lead guitar break. "No Resolve" is a slower more dramatic song with another nice guitar break at the end. Closer "Sunshine" is a cheerful, poppy worship song "Even when my sky turns grey/You still bring me sunshine every day". Claire is obviously a talented writer, with a tight band who wrap the songs round with sensitive but powerful playing. Together they make a great unit who deserve the chance to get into a studio for a full album with a decent budget and a producer who can make the most of their potential.
