This 30-minute video is another in the entertaining series from the Donut Man and the Donut Repair Club, not to mention the popular Duncan (a Donut puppet). This time the setting is a farm where the gang get involved in the daily routines and chores - planting seeds, milking the cows, tending to other animals and lots more. I have to say that I found the introductions to be rather false and not really appealing to the average street wise kids that I am familiar with. However in fairness I showed it to a group of our Sunday School kids and they really enjoyed the simplistic way that the message was put across - how that God is a sower who plants love in our hearts. The puppets are entertaining and lively and capture the imagination, whilst the songs have simple lyrics and excellent musical accompaniments. After a none too promising beginning 'Barnyard Fun' has lots to offer and would make an ideal showing for children aged 4-7 approx.
