Bishop E George Beason wears many hats (though I'm not sure if they include a mitre!) and as a pastor, evangelist and prison worker he's been a tireless worker for the Kingdom. The good bishop, under his moniker The Flame, is also a singer and songwriter of reggae gospel and these two albums, from 1999 and 2000, are a fair example of his ministry. 'The Flame On Fire' is a selection of old hymns with a smattering of originals. Unfortunately the cheesy arrangements and decidedly suspect pitching mars enjoyment, even for lovers of 'lovers rock' style reggae.
