It was the conversion of singer/songwriter Daniel Castady, previously with the mainstream band Showoff, which was the foundation of Christian outfit The Fold. And certainly with Daniel's edgy voice and winning way with hooks, this team of American pop rockers could really be here for the long haul. This is a punchy, crisp debut with the title song a radio-friendly gem getting mucho plays on Cross Rhythms Radio. Throughout Aaron Green's crunching guitar work drives the band forwards while songs like "Remnant", "Evermore" and "I Believe You" though hearteningly couched in non-religious language make it pretty clear that Daniel is going all out for God. If you're up for surging power pop praise The Fold are a band you'll want to investigate.
