The streets is where these three Detroit brothers are aiming their music and this album is a reasonable attempt to fulfil this goal. The music varies from slower melodic gospel tracks to slightly more swingbeat sounds. The Futch's best asset is their vocal talent however the production fails to bring this out, with the vocals too quiet to hear on some songs. Not only this but the album doesn't really allow the brothers to stretch their vocal skills. The best and fullest track is "I Don't Know" which is the last song on this 7-track album. Here they get a little more adventurous with both the vocals and the musical production. What is disappointing is that they left it so late on the album to branch out and experiment. Hopefully this will be a good learning experience for them to build on so that next time they record they can really take some risks and get the most out of their talents. For now this is an alright album though I wouldn't say it breaks back any boundaries of gospel music.
