When you hear the songs on this album; you will note a theme
throughout listening; it says "Take Me Home To Heaven, I
Can't Wait!". The song titles alone tell it all, "Here They
Come", Tour the Golden City", "When I Cross to the Other
Side of Jordan",
"Lead Me to Jordan", "Take Me to JESUS". I just love side 1
starter "Here They Come"(they are in the Bride of CHRIST &
they are coming home): And BTW, top gospel vocalist Janet
Paschal can be heard on the song also. Great American
gospel songwriter Ira Stanphill (1914-1993), wrote "We'll
Talk it Over". Pop country icon Dolly Parton's song "The
Seeker" is heard here (a recorded hit for Dolly the year
prior):the LeFevres did a nice cover. I like the
toe-tapping "Prescripton for Salvation". I can't get over
how the other son on lp cover favours older bro. Mylon (I
enjoy Mylon's music also). Without these pioneers of gospel
music, where would we be today!
