If like Cross Rhythms you missed this last yuletide, you might want to get this in for the next holiday season. Commencing with a love-it or loathe-it version of "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow", we then have the country harmonisers offering a new and unusual song "Peterbilt Sleigh", which in turns leads into some Christmas chestnuts such as the old Gene Autry hit from the late 1940s "Here Comes Santa Claus" and Crosby's "White Christmas". The old Bill Monroe bluegrass tune "Christmas Time's A-Coming" is given a rousing and acoustic rendition. "Getting Ready For A Baby" and the album closer "Glorious Impossible" are new to me. I was rather disappointed with their rendition of the Mark Lowry/Buddy Greene classic "Mary Did You Know?", but overall I found much to enjoy on what is a fresh sounding and enjoyable Christmas release.
