With 10 years of abrasive death-grind under their belts, this two piece outfit from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina have decided to call it a day with this latest release and move on to new projects. Full of grimy guitars and machine-gun drumming, the 17 tracks on this offering slip by at breakneck speed, barely letting up for a breath. The tone is set from the first crash and growl as Raphael produces an almost canine-like quality to his hissed vocals in an opener that only relents on its onslaught to a squeal of feedback. Many of the songs fall into a similar structure of nail gun punches and dirty chords. The first real standout is "Overdose," with its throbbing guitars and melodic structure. The addition of some psychedelic work on "Criminal Lawyer" adds variety and "Dead End" provides a hint of electronica with chords and percussion that underpin yet more scratchy vocals. The raw and crisp production of this collection only goes to add to the visceral feel of what are some aggressive cuts. Picking out the lyrics reveals short reflections on the state of humankind and its rebellion to God, but these are almost unintelligible under the flick book rhythms. Whilst The Right Wing Conspiracy will not be to everyone's taste, there is a creative edge to these pulsing bursts of seemingly anarchic noise that is worth seeking out.
