They've done it again. Topped just about every Christian rock chart imaginable Stateside. This album is a mind spinning collection of distorted Bach, Chopin, Paganini and took first place in the Dove Awards for 'best metal album'. For those who liked 'Psycho Surgery' you are going to feast on this one. This album tops Metalica's. But be warned, you will need a dictionary sitting beside you as you listen to the album. The lyrics are a physics lesson of the mosh pit. Those with a small vocabulary are going to struggle (badly). Song titles like "Gelatinous Tubercles Of Purulent Ossification" or "Spectre-phobic Dementia". Musically the album is almost perfect with great speed metal fiesta's like "Exoskeletons", "Theodicy On Trial", "En Hakkone" and the title track. In the inlay card you read about the drummer Ted Kirkpatrick (ex-Trouble). He practically plays all the instruments. The 12 string guitar classic intro to "The Skeezix Dilemma", additional rhythm guitar on practically every track and jam's some surprisingly impressive lead in "Phantom Limb". But by the time "Pathogenic..." rolls on you'll be flying around your bedroom jamming on an air guitar. Get it!
