The hitmaking emcee is back with his fourth album. The 24 year-old from Dallas, now living in Washington DC, brings passion, quality beats and his effortless, unique flow with Scripture relevantly communicated as he attacks the lies and preconceptions of a culture desperately seeking the "good life". Amongst the guests on the project are Sho Baraka, Lecrae and JR. There are plenty of top rate tracks here. "Robot" exposes the dehumanising effects of our technology-obsessed culture while the uplifting "New Dreams", which features Sho Baraka and JR on the hook is equally good. "I'm Good" (this time featuring Lecrae) is an exposition of Romans 8 about nothing separating us from God's love (the track also highlighting the persecuted Church) over an epic, aggressive beat. Elsewhere, there is the powerful minimalism of "Fantasy"; the mellow breaks ascending into epic synths on "Fallin"; and the standout banger "One Sixteen" (Romans 1.16) with double-timing and a pulsating kick. Trip is clearly one of Christendom's finest talents and, in terms of rapping skills, this album is another demonstration that the top Christian rappers are every bit as good as their mainstream counterparts. We can but hope that some of the fans of the bling and good life obsessed hip-hop stars will get to hear this powerful spiritual antidote.

Product Description
What is the “good life” Is it simply doing whatever feels good? Or is it a life where God exists to make us happy? While Between Two Worlds served as a collection of reflections on life in a fallen world. Trip Lee’s fourth studio album, The Good Life, serves as a survey of the “good life” in an effort to redefine it and encourage us to build our lives around the objective good.
