Truemcee (aka Dai Hankey) has a range of experience rapping on the Christian scene and now heads up a church in Trevethin in South Wales. Not interested in hype or making money, but only salvation of souls, Truemcee is involved in a number of projects to rep Christ in South Wales and beyond. We kick off with "Tru Barz", with Truemcee rolling with the Lord, not being a fake MC and serving the streets for Christ. In "Another Day", Truemcee contrasts the life and death of Christ for us with the violence and death on the streets, encouraging young people to live another day. "My Girls" is a shout out to the women in his life - giving love to his wife, his mother and baby girl, trying his best to model Christ's sacrificial love towards them. Truemcee is not ashamed of the Gospel and living, preaching Christ, as on "Unashamed" and the accapella outro "What I Do", which challenges people to turn to the Lord right now. It's why he does what he does as an emcee, church leader and family man. This five-track EP from the valleys that connects people with Heaven is available for free download on hillcitychurch.org website.
