When producers use superlatives such as 'Ultimate' for selections such as this, you really do begin to wonder what the ordinary ones are like. It's another bunch of songs from across the Atlantic featuring sparkly-toothed kids warbling lyrics that they probably barely understand with the enthusiasm of those who think anything with a drumbeat is, like, cool. There are 15 songs here, some penned by such luminaries of the worship world as Don Moen ("Clap Your Hands"), Paul Baloche ("I Love To Be In Your Presence") and Martin Nystrom ("From The Morning") - not to mention the splendidly monikered Billy Funk ("Sing Shout Clap" and "A Hallelujah Heart"). And once you've heard them all through once, you can run through the split trax versions and join in yourself. No doubt someone, somewhere buys such unimaginative albums as this but in truth, there are far, far better children's projects available.
