Breaking into the UK pop charts at 54 the day this review is written, it is, of course, the presence of Bobby 'The Bobsta' Stearns (a founding member of thebandwithnoname) which gives this piece of blistering British funk special Cross Rhythms interest. With its falsetto lead vocal "Love Ya" could be a cut from a classic Prince album and though the song is little more than an exhortation to "shake it!" it's a dancefloor filler that deserves a spin or two. And the extended dance remix by Herve is pretty hot too.
