20 wonderful tracks featuring many of the greats of the genre. Love or hate bluegrass, there's no denying the glorious acoustic skills of these masters of the art on their respective instruments. Add in the vocal magic of such as Alison Krauss, Laurie Lewis and Ricky Skaggs and it's starting to get hot. Gospel has always been at the heart of bluegrass, evidenced by some fine examples here. The tracks by the Cox Family show again that they are exemplary musicians and vocal harmonisers, particularly their version of "When God Dips His Pen Of Love In My Heart". "Who's That Knocking On My Door" is a great track from the Dreadful Snakes (don't worry, it's the usual Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Roland White etc crowd). Time you explored bluegrass country?
