Fat And Frantic's 1989 single attempt "Last Night My Wife Hoovered My Head" is probably the most well known of all the tracks on this compilation CD described quite accurately as "twenty independent artists and twenty-one alternative songs from New Zealand, England, Sweden and America". What more can I say? From a worshipful "Psalm" by The Revolutionary Army Of The Infant Jesus through the roots sound of Sam Hill to a great deal of really quite brilliant grunge and genuine contemporary rock, this CD is a must for all those who are lamenting the lack of alternative music in CCM. Naturally, in keeping with the music style, nomenclature is decidedly wacky too, vis: "Spelunking Through The Chaos" by The Mellowdramatic Wallflowers; "Cow Lift" by The Happy Jerks; and the delightful "Invasion Of The Brainsnatchers" by Blenderhead. Love it! CCM needs people like ACM Journal. Buy this CD, you won't regret it...or at least, you certainly won't forget it!
