Superb! There is no other word for it, but let me explain why: In this media-driven society that we live in we are pumping out Christian music by the truck load, and some of that is dross. However, here we have a superb collection of the best - the very best - of contemporary Christian music. Music that is written and designed to lift our eyes off the negatives in society and focus on Jesus! From the outset Big Daddy Weave fixes our thoughts on the "Audience Of One" - God alone; and from then on the album weaves our thoughts in a compendium of songs all pointing towards him! Ten Shekel Shirt's "Ocean" is a brilliant song reminding us of God' faithfulness in all things. The genre of this album is contemporary Christian rock which has a modern upbeat and enlightening air. The great thing about it is you get two albums for the price of one! 25 songs crammed into the eye-catching blue slip cover and jewel case. There is so much on this album that editing doesn't give me the space to fully appreciate it. However, what more can be said than:- Tree63, Phil Joel, Lincoln Brewster and Telecast! Ginny Owens, Watermark, Jeff Deyo ("All I Want" - fantastic lyrics) and Jeremy Camp! Plus - yes there's more - you get bonus cuts of BarlowGirl, Ross King, The Offering! For me after the pace of the album it is great to flip to Disk 2, which is a little more sedate, and listen to The Katinas harmonizing their offering of "Thank You" to our great and worthy Lord!
