The pm collection has songs all based on Psalms; good to see Ian White's craftsmanship being acknowledged with inclusion of four of his songs. Rather a mellow, atmospheric set, reminiscent of traditional Sunday afternoons at home I suppose, but not as boring. Another pretty little intro leads to the gentle flowing assurance of 'Unto The Hills', smooth harmony vocals and rich acoustic songs. Alongside familiar vocalists such as Vince Ebo, Vicki Hampton and White Hart members are new names John Phillips, Billy Simon and Connie Harrington. Good to hear fine new talent emerging. Not quite the bite of 'Morning Tapestry' but probably a useful 'pick-me-up' if afternoons depress you. Better than watching soaps anyway?
