'Better Is One Day' is Volume 5 in the so far excellent 'Worship Together' series. I have heard many of its predecessors and I'm even more enamoured with this one due to the variety and quality of the tracks on it. There's something on here to satisfy the majority of tastes. From the haunting vocals of Adrienne Liesching on Benjamin Gate's "I Will Never Be The Same", "My Glorious" and "Jesus' Blood" from Delirious?, the incredible thumping dance track "Amazing" from Andy Hunter to quality live renditions of "Better Is One Day" and "Famous One" from well known worship leaders Charlie Hall and Chris Tomlin. The only feeble track I found was "Take Us To The River" from Derald Dougherty which is completely devoid of any of the power and impact of the original Robin Mark rendition I first heard. Overall though, the tracks here powerfully demonstrate how much worship music has progressed and how it can often knock spots off many mainstream offerings.
