Yet another compilation of recent worship songs - mainly from Britain and almost all from the 21st century. Only four of the 30 tracks were written before 2000 - Brian Doerksen's "Faithful One", Kathryn Scott's "Hungry", Martin Smith's "I Could Sing Of Your Love" and Geoff Bullock's "The Power Of Your Love" - so it's a fairly good sample of modern worship music. All of these songs will have appeared on at least one original album already and probably on a couple of compilations, too, so the main incentive for buying this would be to have a representative selection of today's songs. It's all well produced and the performances - from the opening "Indescribable" through to Marc James's closing "Surrender" - are top notch. But is another compilation really necessary, or is it simply another example of box set overkill?
