A veritable welter of country and pop artists doing easy-on-the-ear but hardly indispensable renditions of Lennon and McCartney evergreens. So if Tanya Tucker performing "Something" or Kris Kristofferson doing "Paper Back Writer" appeals, here it is though some renditions veer perilously close to karaoke. CCM interest comes from Phil Keaggy and PFR (together) doing a version of "We Can Work It Out" and Susan Ashton and Gary Chapman duetting on "In My Life" though it's the magnificent country voice of Randy Travis which breathes real creative life into "Nowhere Man".
